Supply Networks Asia (SNA) as a learning organization was formed in 2002 to fill significant skills gap in the areas of Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Global/Strategic Sourcing and Procurement. SNA believes that not only is it important that learning programs are academically sound; they must address the issues within the business environment. With these objectives in mind, SNA was formed by a small group of highly experienced and appropriately qualified Logistics, Supply Chain Management and Global/Strategic Sourcing specialists in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

SNA provides, in conjunction with the Australian Institute of Applied Logistics a full range of accredited education and training programs to organizations needing to improve their performance of their personnel in these important business activities. A specialist range of programs for all levels of experience, within Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, with credible and relevant knowledge and skills transfer built on Asian, Australian and Other International experience have been developed and each program can be tailored to an individual organization’s needs.

IAL Applied Logistics

Australian Institute of Applied Logistics (IAL)

The Australian Institute of Applied Logistics (IAL) was established in 1999 specifically to provide supply chain management, logistics and business improvement services to industry. It provides competency-based and nationally recognized training to industry, short customized courses to address specific needs within a single company as well as consultancy and business improvement services. IAL’s delivery methods include face-to-face, workplace based and on-line training.

The Institute is unique in being able to provide a pathway in Logistics through Certificate I to Masters Degree, via training, brokerage and partnering arrangements. IAL provide competency-based training, at Certificate I - VI levels, for the Transport and Distribution Industry, including Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Inventory Management, Road Transport, Warehousing, Administration and Stevedoring. At the Certificate level, we also provide training in Business Administration, Front Line Management, and Workplace Assessment & Training.

The Institute’s program is focused on Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels. The Advanced Diploma is recognized by the University of South Australia, one of our strategic partners, which provides credit for one subject in the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, which is the first stage of a Masters in Business Administration and soon a Masters in Supply Chain.

IAL are the national Registered Training Organization for the newly accredited, (July ’04), Australian Procurement & Inventory Control Society (APICS), Certificate 4 and Diploma.
