Global Sup­ply Chain Man­age­ment Edu­ca­tion at BEM, France


BEM was founded by the Bor­deaux Cham­ber of Com­merce and Indus­try in 1874, and is one of the old­est “Grandes Ecoles” in France. The school is a mem­ber of the “Con­férence des Grandes Ecoles”. Orig­i­nally called the Ecole Supérieure de Com­merce, the school became the Groupe ESC Bor­deaux then Bor­deaux Ecole de Man­age­ment and now we pre­fer to be called sim­ply BEM.

BEM today offers 12 pro­grams award­ing diplo­mas in man­age­ment to the level of Bach­e­lor, Mas­ters and Spe­cialised Mas­ters. These pro­grams award a Spe­cial­ized Mas­ters diploma rec­og­nized by the “Con­férence des Grandes Ecoles” and a state-​recognized cer­tifi­cate. BEM also offers sev­eral types of ser­vices for work­ing pro­fes­sion­als includ­ing diploma pro­grams, cer­tifi­cate pro­grams, Expe­ri­ence Val­i­da­tion for the ESC Grande Ecole pro­gram, custom-​made pro­grams for com­pa­nies, cov­er­ing dif­fer­ent aspects of man­age­ment. BEM pos­sesses the EQUIS, AMBA and AASCB accred­i­ta­tions. Only 1% of Busi­ness Schools in the world has obtained this Triple Crown.

Academic Programs

Mas­ters Program

  • MSc in Global Sup­ply Chain Man­age­ment (15 months with 5 months Intern­ship): Cre­ated at the ini­tia­tive of sev­eral top multi­na­tional com­pa­nies, the MSc Global Sup­ply Chain Man­age­ment pro­gram is aimed at high-​potential, mul­ti­cul­tural young man­agers. Each year MSc stu­dents apply Global Sup­ply Chain tools and meth­ods under com­pany work­shop around Europe, they also par­tic­i­pate to Inter­na­tional Sup­ply Chain Trade Fairs in Europe, Asia and more.
  • Admis­sion Require­ments: To apply to the MSc in Global Sup­ply Chain Man­age­ment pro­gram, can­di­dates must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree or its equiv­a­lent from an accred­ited col­lege or uni­ver­sity; or have a sig­nif­i­cant work expe­ri­ence to com­pen­sate for a lesser degree. For non-​native Eng­lish speak­ers, a TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS score is manda­tory. Fol­low­ing doc­u­ments are required - A com­pleted appli­ca­tion form: Your TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS score report (non-​native Eng­lish speak­ers); A copy of your cer­tifi­cate degree; and 2 let­ters of rec­om­men­da­tion - ide­ally a cur­rent or recent employer and a university-​level ref­eree. All selected appli­cant have to take writ­ten test to assess your ana­lyt­i­cal and sum­ma­riz­ing skills - GMAT or TAGE-​MAGE or BEM spe­cific equiv­a­lence tests held in Bor­deaux at BEM or in dif­fer­ent coun­tries depend­ing on the candidate’s nationality.
