Global Supply Chain Management Education at BEM, France
BEM was founded by the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1874, and is one of the oldest “Grandes Ecoles” in France. The school is a member of the “Conférence des Grandes Ecoles”. Originally called the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, the school became the Groupe ESC Bordeaux then Bordeaux Ecole de Management and now we prefer to be called simply BEM.
BEM today offers 12 programs awarding diplomas in management to the level of Bachelor, Masters and Specialised Masters. These programs award a Specialized Masters diploma recognized by the “Conférence des Grandes Ecoles” and a state-recognized certificate. BEM also offers several types of services for working professionals including diploma programs, certificate programs, Experience Validation for the ESC Grande Ecole program, custom-made programs for companies, covering different aspects of management. BEM possesses the EQUIS, AMBA and AASCB accreditations. Only 1% of Business Schools in the world has obtained this Triple Crown.
- MSc in Global Supply Chain Management (15 months with 5 months Internship): Created at the initiative of several top multinational companies, the MSc Global Supply Chain Management program is aimed at high-potential, multicultural young managers. Each year MSc students apply Global Supply Chain tools and methods under company workshop around Europe, they also participate to International Supply Chain Trade Fairs in Europe, Asia and more.
- Admission Requirements: To apply to the MSc in Global Supply Chain Management program, candidates must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university; or have a significant work experience to compensate for a lesser degree. For non-native English speakers, a TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS score is mandatory. Following documents are required - A completed application form: Your TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS score report (non-native English speakers); A copy of your certificate degree; and 2 letters of recommendation - ideally a current or recent employer and a university-level referee. All selected applicant have to take written test to assess your analytical and summarizing skills - GMAT or TAGE-MAGE or BEM specific equivalence tests held in Bordeaux at BEM or in different countries depending on the candidate’s nationality.
The MSc Global Supply Chain Management program is accredited by CIPS - Chartered Intitute of Purchasing and Supply; AACSB; AMBA; EQUIS (European Label of Quality); CGE - Conference des Grandes Ecoles; SCC - Supply Chain Council Certification; and SCALE - Audit Supply Chain Certification.
