Founded in 1971, Grant Macewan University has a long tradition of learner access and quality education. As a comprehensive university, MacEwan offers more than 60 programs including undergraduate degrees, applied degrees, diplomas, certificates, continuing education and corporate training.
In less than 40 years, MacEwan has evolved and grown to become a degree-granting university offering a broad complement of programs. Our name may have changed, but the learning and commitment continues. In the 2010/11 Canadian University Report released by the Globe and Mail, our students gave MacEwan an "A" for the quality of education, levels of student/faculty interaction, quality of teaching, class sizes and campus atmosphere.
MacEwan School of Business is a recognized leader in undergraduate international business education, known for student success, scholarship, innovation and excellence in teaching. The School of Business hosts two research centres: the Institute for Innovation in Management Education (IIME) and the Institute of Asia Pacific Studies (IAPS).
